Valentina Abbott has joined private markets investment firm Stafford Capital Partners as global head of client solutions.
Based in London, Ms. Abbott will "help accelerate investment in the firm's sustainable alternative investment vehicles," said a Thursday news release.
A spokesman for Stafford said by email that Ms. Abbott is taking on a newly created role and will report to CEO Angus Whiteley.
Ms. Abbott most recently worked at IFM Investors where she served as global head of that firm's global relationship group, the release noted.
Stafford has $7.9 billion in assets under management, the release added.
A spokesman for IFM said by email that Ms. Abbott was succeeded by John Gee-Grant. However, the spokesman added that the title of the position was changed from global head of the global relationship group to head of global client solutions.
