Marta Jankovic was named head of sustainability at private markets firm Stafford Capital Partners, a spokesman confirmed.
Ms. Jankovic, who is based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, works closely with Stafford's investment committee. Ms. Jankovic replaced Silva Dezelan, who had the title of ESG director. Ms. Dezelan is has been head of impact and ESG at life sciences venture capital firm Forbion since May.
Ms. Jankovic will focus on shaping Stafford's sustainable investing strategy, fostering engagement with clients, policy and industry stakeholders.
"Marta's experience, attitude and knowledge of the evolving policy environment when it comes to EU and global standards make her a wonderful addition to our experienced team. She is well placed to help guide our investment strategies and deliver on our clients' responsible investment objectives," CEO Angus Whiteley said in the news release. "Marta's experience will really consolidate the work we undertake in this space."
Ms. Jankovic was senior consultant at APG Asset Management, where she advised the private markets teams on implementation of European Union sustainability regulation, according to her LinkedIn page.
Stafford has $7.9 billion in assets under management and advisement.
