Brian Chase was named managing director at Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners.
It is a new position, a spokeswoman said in an email. Mr. Chase will lead the infrastructure money manager's newly formed capital formation and investor engagement team. He reports to David Scaysbrook and Rory Quinlan, co-founders and managing partners.
Mr. Chase was previously managing director in BlackRock's alternative solutions group and a member of the its infrastructure solutions business's investment committee, the Quinbrook news release said.
BlackRock spokesman Christopher Beattie declined to comment.
