Michael S. Harris joined quantitative hedge fund manager Quest Partners as president on June 1.
Mr. Harris replaces Prashant Kolluri, who is transitioning to an advisory position at the firm so he can concentrate on personal investment initiatives, confirmed Scott Valentine, director of business development and investor relations, in an email.
Mr. Harris oversees all of the firm's functional areas and is a "key member" of Quest's managing committee and reports to Nigol Koulajian, the firm's founder and chief investment officer, according to a news release Thursday.
"As we continually seek to develop best-in-class technologies, capabilities and relationships, I look forward to Mike executing on these initiatives and helping Quest realize its exciting opportunities ahead," Mr. Koulajian said in the release.
Mr. Harris previously was director of family office at Verdence Capital Advisors, a private wealth advisory and multifamily office firm.
Prior to joining Verdence in 2020, Mr. Harris was president of hedge fund manager Campbell & Co.
Quest Partners managed $2.5 billion as of June 30.
