Bettina Lung joined QIC, the Brisbane, Australia-based money manager overseeing A$101 billion ($70 billion) in alternatives strategies, as director of multisector private debt.
It is a new position on the private debt team QIC launched last year.
Ms. Lung will report to Phil Miall, head of multisector private debt.
She comes to QIC from the credit income team at A$155 billion Aware Super, Sydney, "where she was responsible for origination and execution of corporate and leveraged finance transactions in Australia and New Zealand," according to a statement from QIC. An Aware Super spokesman couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
