Eimear Palmer was named partner and global head of ESG at private markets manager Pantheon.
It is a new position, spokesman Ashley Wassall said in an email. Ms. Palmer, who is based in London, will start in August and report to Alex Scott, partner at Pantheon who oversees the European primary investment team, Mr. Wassall said.
Ms. Palmer was previously managing director and head of responsible investment at Intermediate Capital Group. ICG spokeswoman Clare Glynn could not be immediately reached for further information.
As of Dec. 31, Pantheon had $84.6 billion in assets under management.
