Gisele Everett, a senior managing director and head of OMERS Infrastructure Americas, has departed the firm, confirmed Michael Hill executive vice president and global head of infrastructure at Ontario Municipal Employees' Retirement System, Toronto.
Everett had been with OMERS for four years, Hill added.
"We thank Gisele for her role in building a strong portfolio in Canada and the U.S., developing a high-performing team of professionals," Hill added.
In addition, Hill will now lead the North America region, with the support of a newly formed Americas Operating Committee. This committee will comprise "all senior managing directors and managing directors in the region and across our asset management, origination and legal functions, and will oversee the day-to-day activities of the infrastructure investment professionals based in New York and Toronto," he added.
OMERS Infrastructure has C$34 billion ($25.4 billion) of assets under management and total assets of C$127.4 billion.
A spokesperson for OMERS declined to comment on Everett's next role.
