Thomas O’Hanlon, managing director of New York Life Real Estate Investors, the $68 billion real estate investment arm of New York Life Insurance, will become head of NYLREI at the end of June, when Mark Talgo, senior managing director and the current NYLREI head, retires, said a news release Jan. 30.
O’Hanlon will also continue to serve in his current capacity as head of real estate equity. He will report to Anthony Malloy, executive vice president and CIO of New York Life Insurance.
O’Hanlon initially joined NYLREI in 2004 as an acquisitions officer.
Talgo first joined the company in 1985 and has led NYLREI for the past 22 years.
