Gila Cohen was named managing director, institutional partnerships at private credit manager Monroe Capital.
It is a new position, a spokeswoman said in an email. Based in New York, Ms. Cohen reports to Theodore L. Koenig, chairman and CEO, and will be responsible for expanding the firm's global opportunistic and real estate private credit areas, the spokeswoman said.
Ms. Cohen was previously chief investment strategy officer at MUFG (USA). Officials there could not be immediately reached for further information.
Monroe Capital has about $14 billion in assets under management.
