Jon Fox has been named global head of capital formation at alternative asset manager MidOcean Partners, said a news release Oct. 17.
It is a new position. The New York-based Fox will be tasked with helping to “enhance and expand MidOcean’s investor relationships globally, and position the firm to continue to meet investors’ evolving needs,” the news release said.
Fox previously was president of alternative investment firm Varde Partners. Varde could not be immediately reached for further details.
MidOcean Partners, which specializes in middle-market private equity, structured capital, and alternative credit investments, has about $10 billion in assets under management, according to the firm’s website.
