Homyar Choksi was named the deputy chief investment officer of LBC Credit Partners, a division of CIFC Asset Management, according to a Jan. 25 news release.
Choksi has worked at LBC since 2007 and most recently served as a partner and managing director. He is based in the firm's headquarters in Radnor, Pa.
Choksi has served as a member of the investment committee and will keep those responsibilities. He will also lead the originations team and assume "additional investment responsibilities," the news release added.
"Homyar is an incredibly experienced, thoughtful, and creative investment professional who has deep relationships within the private equity and direct lending communities," said John Brignola, senior managing partner at LBC, in the release. "His well-deserved promotion speaks to his contributions to LBC's platform and growth as well as our commitment to developing and elevating talent from within the firm."
Officials at CIFC could not immediately provide more details.
CIFC managed more than $41 billion in assets as of Dec. 31.
