David Saitowitz has joined alternative asset manager Intermediate Capital Group as head of U.S. liquid credit.
Saitowitz will manage ICG's U.S. investment strategies that focus on syndicated loans and high yield bonds, said a Jan. 4 news release. The position is new, an ICG spokesperson said.
Based in New York, Saitowitz is part of ICG's North American credit business, which encompasses both private debt and liquid credit strategies and manages more than $14 billion in assets.
Brian Spenner serves as head of North American credit.
Saitowitz most recently served as partner and co-head of U.S. performing credit and head of industry research at Apollo Global Management.

ICG manages a total of $81 billion of assets.
