Alan Isenberg joined alternatives manager ICG as global head of marketing and client relations, a spokesperson confirmed.
Isenberg succeeded Andreas Mondovits, who will become a senior adviser after a handover period. Mondovits, who joined the firm in 2012, will be based in Singapore.
Isenberg reports to Benoit Durteste, CEO and CIO of the $101 billion firm.
“His track record of collaborative leadership, strategic product management and client centricity will help us continue to deliver for our current and future LPs (limited partners),” Durteste said about Isenberg in a news release. “I am also pleased that he will be based in New York, amplifying our global footprint.”
ICG manages assets across four classes: structured and private equity, private debt, real assets and credit.
Isenberg was global head of the client partnership group at Angelo Gordon — now known as TPG Angelo Gordon. Details about any replacement were not immediately available.
