Kevin Silva has been named global head of institutional business development at FS Investments, the $76 billion global alternative asset manager.
Silva reports to Enrico Gaglioti, co-president, and his responsibilities will include "strengthening existing and building new institutional client relationships around the globe and exploring new channels for institutional client development," said a Jan. 16 release.
A spokesperson for FS Investments confirmed this is a newly created role.
Silva most recently served as head of the strategic partners group at investment adviser MSD Partners.
MSD declined to comment.
