Energy Spectrum Capital, a venture capital manager, has closed its latest energy infrastructure-focused fund, Energy Spectrum Partners VIII, at $969 million.
The fund invests in midstream energy assets and seeks assets such as crude oil and natural gas transportation, processing, storage and treatment facilities, a spokeswoman said in an email.
The previous fund, Energy Spectrum Partners VII, closed at $1.225 billion in 2014.
Among the 82 limited partners in the current fund is the $58.7 billion Alaska Permanent Fund Corp., Juneau.
