DigitalBridge Group closed its flagship infrastructure fund, DigitalBridge Partners II, at $8.3 billion.
The closing exceeds its original fundraising target of $6 billion, a news release said Wednesday.
The fund, formerly known as Digital Colony Partners II, concentrates on investing in data centers, cell towers and digital billboards among other investments and has made nine investments thus far, the news release said.
Investors include the $196.7 billion Texas Teacher Retirement System, Austin; $103.7 billion Virginia Retirement System, Richmond; $82.7 billion Alaska Permanent Fund Corp., Juneau; $46.7 billion Indiana Public Retirement System, Indianapolis; $35.5 billion Texas Employees' Retirement System, Austin; and $12.8 billion Sacramento County (Calif.) Employees' Retirement System.
A spokeswoman for DigitalBridge could not be immediately reached for further information.
