Sandra Horbach, partner and co-head of Americas corporate private equity at Carlyle Group, is moving to the position of chair of Americas corporate private equity.
She will be replaced as co-head by Stephen Wise, partner and current global head of healthcare, alongside the other co-head, Brian Bernasek, according to a June 12 news release.
Horbach will continue to serve on the investment committees of U.S. corporate private equity funds, the news release said.
Joe Bress and Robert Schmidt, senior partners and longtime members of the healthcare team, will succeed Wise as global co-heads of healthcare.

As of March 31, Carlyle Group had $425 billion in assets under management.
