Ann Dai is joining Blue Owl Capital as a managing director and in the new position of head of investor relations, a spokeswoman said in an email.
Alternative investment firm Blue Owl was formed in May by the merger of Owl Rock Capital Group and former Neuberger Berman Group subsidiary Dyal Capital Partners with special purpose acquisition company Altimar Acquisition Corp.
Ms. Dai will focus on relationships with analysts and investors in Blue Owl's stock. She is based in New York and reports to Alan Kirshenbaum, Blue Owl's chief financial officer.
"Ann's extensive industry experience and reputation with analysts and investors will be a great asset as we continue to build off the strong momentum following our public market debut." Mr. Kirshenbaum said in a news release.
Ms. Dai had been a principal and investor relations manager at Apollo Global Management.
