Raymond Chan was named managing director, portfolio management and investment research team at Blackstone Alternative Asset Management, a news release said.
Mr. Chan will serve as a portfolio manager for BAAM's $10.5 billion registered funds platform, which includes the Blackstone Alternative Multi-Strategy Fund and the Blackstone Diversified Multi-Strategy Fund, a daily liquid UCITS fund. Whether he replaces someone in the role could not be immediately learned.
Mr. Chan was previously managing director, global portfolio solutions, at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, the news release said.
