Colin Doherty and Michael Timms have joined Bayview Asset Management as co-heads of the firm’s newly established fund finance investment business, said a news release April 10.
As managing directors and co-heads of fund finance, Doherty and Timms will focus on building out Bayview's fund finance investment capabilities and expanding the firm’s asset-based finance offerings, the news release said.
Doherty most recently was U.S. head of private equity secondaries at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. A J.P Morgan spokesperson declined to comment.
Timms most recently was managing director at 17Capital, where he helped lead the firm’s U.S. investment business. 17Capital could not be immediately reached for further details.
Bayview had about $20 billion in assets under management as of Dec. 31.
