Battery Ventures closed its latest venture capital fund and accompanying side fund, raising a total of $2 billion.
The main fund, Battery Ventures XIII, closed at $1.2 billion, and its companion vehicle, Battery Ventures XIII Side Fund, closed at $800 million, according to a news release Wednesday.
The side fund invests alongside the main fund in later-stage growth and buyout transactions.
Investors include the University System of New Hampshire, Durham, for its $566 million combined endowment pool.
Battery Ventures spokeswoman Rebecca Buckman could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
