Keith Largay joined Bain Capital’s real estate business as head of real estate capital markets, a spokesperson confirmed.
It is a new position. Largay oversees the team’s debt and financing strategy, including managing lender relationships and working with the investment teams on the capital structure for both acquisition financing and refinancing.
Alternatives firm Bain, which has $185 billion in assets under management, formed its real estate business after Harvard Management Co. spun out its real estate team, effective in 2018. The team became Bain Capital employees.
Bain Capital’s real estate team has more than 90 dedicated staff and manages about $10 billion in assets.
Largay was co-head of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Chicago office. A spokesperson could not immediately be reached for comment.
