Amara Goeree was named director and global head of ESG product at alternative fund administrator Apex Fund Services, spokeswoman Rosie Guest said in an email.
Ms. Goeree, who began the newly created position on July 8, reports to Srikumar T.E., global head of fund administration and member of the group executive committee.
Ms. Goeree leads the development of a new environmental, social and governance data-and-ratings service called Apex GreenLight ESG Ratings.
She was previously head of corporate sustainability and responsible investment at multinational private bank Julius Baer.
