Brijesh Jeevarathnam was named partner and global head of fund investments for private markets manager Adams Street Partners.
It is a new position, a spokeswoman said. He will take on many of the responsibilities of Kelly Meldrum, partner and head of primary investments.
Mr. Jeevarathnam, currently a partner in primary investments, will also become a member of the firm's executive committee. Ms. Meldrum will transition her duties at the end of the year and be available through the first quarter of 2023.
In addition, Saguna Malhotra was named partner and head of global buyout fund investments, a new position. She is currently a partner in primary investments.
The spokeswoman could not immediately provide further information.
Adams Street Partners has $50 billion in assets under management.
