Adams Street Partners closed on a $2 billion investment in alternatives on the secondary market, including its secondary $1.1 billion Adams Street Global Secondary Fund 6, spokesman Shree Dhond said in an email.
The remainder of the capital is committed to separately managed accounts. Adams Street's newest global secondary fund is 5% larger than its predecessor fund, $1 billion Adams Street Global Secondary Fund 5 that closed in 2013.
Investors in the fund include the $97.1 billion Minnesota State Board of Investment, St. Paul.
