Leland Richards was named partner at private markets money manager Adams Street Partners.
He joined the manager on April 30, a news release said Monday. His hiring adds to the depth of the manager's growing private credit team, the release said.
Mr. Richards will be involved in helping shape the strategic direction of the private credit business as well as all decision-making processes including due diligence, sourcing, structuring and negotiating investment opportunities.
He was previously managing director at Nuveen subsidiary Churchill Asset Management.
Adams Street Partners has about $45 billion in assets under management.
