Nancy is responsible for determining the editorial direction and content of P&I. She joined P&I in 1982 as a reporter in the Dallas office. She moved to Chicago to become managing editor in 1983, and was named executive editor in 1986. She became editor in 1997. Previously she was a reporter and editor on daily newspapers in Texas, Florida and New York.
