Reporting to the Vice President for Finance and Administrative Services, the
Treasurer is an Officer of the University and is responsible for Debt ($400
million), Treasury, Endowment oversight and Long-Term Investments ($815
million). The Treasurer serves as the primary liaison to financial institutions,
bond counsel, outsourced investment advisor, rating agencies and other key
partners and advisors.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and visionary leader. A Bachelor’s degree
and ten plus years of progressive experience in finance and treasury leadership
roles in a complex and distributed structure; advanced knowledge of capital
markets, finance, treasury operations and debt management; and advanced
quantitative and financial management skills are required. An advanced
degree, CPA or CFA, and experience in structuring and negotiating complex
real estate transactions are preferred.
