Reporting to Jagdeep Bachher, Chief Investment Officer of the Regents (CIO/Office of the CIO), the Managing Director, Private Equity will bring a strong performance track record as an investor with a global markets perspective and seek the best risk-adjusted returns. The Endowment private equity portfolio represents over $1 billion. This individual will work very closely with the Senior Managing Director, Private Equity, Managing Director, Absolute Return and Managing Director, Real Estate and will be expected to be a contributing senior member of the broader investment team in reviewing and evaluating investment ideas, trends and strategies across all asset classes.In addition, he/she will be an important component to Office of the CIO's asset allocation process providing research and insight into macroeconomic issues, broad financial market opportunities and potential new investment initiatives around the globe. As a senior investment leader, the successful candidate will be a key player in building a high performance investment culture that is market oriented, performance driven and grounded in sophisticated risk management practices.
