Rocaton Investment Advisors, LLC (Rocaton) is a nationally recognized, 100% employee-owned institutional investment consulting firm based in Norwalk, CT. Rocaton advises clients on approximately $400 billion in total assets. Rocaton’s sophisticated client base includes large corporate retirement plans, endowments, insurance companies, and financial intermediaries. Rocaton is looking for a Managing Director of Business Development to join its growing team. The Senior level individual will focus on Rocaton’s sales and marketing effort, specifically with large institutional investors, including corporate benefit plans, insurance companies, endowments and foundations, and financial intermediaries. In addition to attending and presenting at various industry conferences.
This position requires an individual with a quantitative aptitude, strong written and presentation skills. Additionally, the candidate must be client service oriented and able to manage multiple projects/deadlines. Seven or more years of relevant experience is preferred. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree; MBA, or CFA would be a plus. Prior experience with a proven track record in a financial setting is preferred. The position has excellent growth potential and provides an opportunity to immediately contribute to Rocaton’s success. Some travel is required.
