Salary: DOQ. The Fresno County Employees’ Retirement Association (FCERA) is an independent association established by the County Employees Retirement Law (CERL) of 1937. The Association has net assets of about $3.9 billion, with a funding ratio of 74.1% at June 30, 2013. As of June 30, 2013, its membership consisted of 6,363 retirees, 1,295 deferred employees and 6,866 current employees. The Association has approximately 28 employees and the FY14/15 budget is about $4.36 million. Under direction of the Board of Retirement, the Retirement Administrator plans, organizes, directs and administers the activities of FCERA. The Administrator is responsible for directing the operations of FCERA, implementing and monitoring Board policy, and coordinating the activities of contracting, investing and consulting firms on behalf of the Board. Requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics or closely related field (a master's is a plus); and five years of increasingly responsible administrative/management experience with a large, complex defined-benefit retirement system.
