TRS is searching for an Executive Director to lead the $13+ billion statewide retirement system. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the largest of seven pension funds in the state, and one that is nationally recognized for its investment performance.
An experienced general manager/CEO with a strong operational and administrative background along with general knowledge of investments is desired. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader, who understands pension plans, someone with passion for the teaching profession and dedicated to public service. Preference will be given to knowledge of federal and state pension laws and legislative experience at the state level. A bachelor’s degree is required.
Compensation will include base salary, health care, and retirement benefits. Some relocation assistance is also provided. Applicants from public pension funds or other sectors with relevant experience will be considered.
