Denver Employees Retirement Plan is searching for consulting and reviewing actuaries.
The search is being conducted because the $2.2 billion pension fund's contract with its current actuarial consultant, Gabriel Roeder Smith, is set to expire soon, said Heather Darlington, director of finance and operations, in an email. GRS is welcome to rebid.
The contracts will be for five years, starting Jan. 1.
The RFP is available on the pension fund's website. Proposals are due 5 p.m. MDT Oct. 16. Oral presentations of finalists are scheduled to occur during the weeks of Oct. 29 and Nov. 5, with final selections expected to be made Nov. 16.
