Waterbury (Conn.) Retirement System is searching for an investment consultant, said an RFP posted on the city's procurement website.

The $407 million pension fund issued the RFP for a consultant to assist the retirement board with periodic reviews of its investment strategies and annual reviews of the pension fund's investment policy objectives and asset allocation. The current consultant is Wells Fargo Advisors; whether the firm is eligible to rebid could not be immediately learned.

The RFP is available on the city's procurement website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 10:30 a.m. EDT on Sept. 20. A three-year contract is scheduled to begin on or around Nov. 15, the RFP said.
