Jennison adds consultant relations duo

Christine Schneider and Gregory Weissman were named managing directors in global distribution by Jennison Associates.

In these new positions, Ms. Schneider and Mr. Weissman are responsible for relationship management for consultants and selected investment clients, spokesman Judith Flynn confirmed in an email.

The pair of consultant relationship managers reports to Lori McEvoy, the firm's global head of distribution.

"We are delighted to welcome Christine and Greg," Ms. McEvoy said in a news release, noting, "their professional experience and long-standing personal relationships within the consulting community will strengthen and deepen Jennison's efforts with clients and distribution partners."

Ms. Schneider was executive director and head of consultant relations for the Americas at UBS Asset Management. Sheryl Lee, a UBS spokeswoman, did not immediately respond to an email request for information about Ms. Schneider's replacement.

Mr. Weissman was director, consultant relations at Putnam Investments. Jon Goldstein, a spokesman, said in an email that Putnam does not plan to replace Mr. Weissman.

Jennison managed $173 billion as of March 31.
