Neptune bolsters fixed-income team

Theodora Zemek was named head of fixed-income strategy at Neptune Investment Management, a spokeswoman said.

The position is new. Ms. Zemek reports to Robin Geffen, CEO, and works closely with James Dowey, chief economist and chief investment officer.

Ms. Zemek "is one of the most senior and respected fixed-income experts in the industry," Mr. Geffen said in a news release. "With a 30-year record of demonstrable delivery, her wealth of experience and intellectual focus are a perfect fit for Neptune."

Ms. Zemek is an independent non-executive director of BlackRock (BLK) Fund Managers. A spokeswoman said Ms. Zemek will continue in that role.

Neptune has 3.5 billion ($4.7 billion) in assets under management.
