Denver Employees Retirement Plan intends to search for an investment consultant, said Randall Baum, chief investment officer for the $2.3 billion pension fund, in an email.
The search will be by invitation only. The incumbent, Summit Strategies Group, will be included in the search.
The plan intends to complete the search by September, said Mr. Baum.
As of Dec. 31, 2016, the plan had a 23.5% allocation to international equities, 21.8% to domestic equities, 20.2% to fixed income, 19.8% to alternatives, 7.9% to real estate, 4.4% to hedge funds, and 2.4% to cash.
