Ontario Teachers infrastructure, natural resources managing director departs

Andrew Claerhout, senior managing director, infrastructure and natural resources, at the C$180.5 billion ($145.2 billion) Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, Toronto, has left the pension fund, Mr. Claerhout confirmed.

Mr. Claerhout would not comment on his future plans.

Dale Burgess, managing director, Latin America, at OTPP, was named interim head of infrastructure and natural resources, an OTPP spokeswoman said. Details on a search for a permanent replacement could not be immediately learned.

OTPP had C$17.8 billion invested in infrastructure and C$10.5 billion in natural resources, both as of Dec. 31, 2016, according to the plan's website.
