Holyoke (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System has issued an RFP for a U.S. midcap equity manager or managers to run about $15 million for the $280 million defined benefit plan.
The search is being conducted to comply with state investment regulations that contracts be put out to bid every seven years, said Cheryl A. Dugre, executive director of the pension fund. Boston Co. Asset Management is the current manager and is invited to rebid.
Only commingled investment vehicles will be considered. Separate accounts will not be considered. The board may select more than one manager.
A copy of the RFP is available by contacting Ms. Dugre via email. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EST Feb. 24. A selection is expected to be made by April, Ms. Dugre said.
