Naples, Fla., seeks consultant for 3 pension plans

Naples, Fla., is searching for an investment consultant for the city's three pension funds, according to an RFP posted on the city's website.

The city is seeking a firm to provide "professional investment consulting and evaluation services in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal rules, codes, regulations and/or laws," according to the RFP. A Sept. 1 retirement board meeting video posted on the city's website said the RFP was going to be issued due to the board's policy to put services up for bid every five years. The RFP is available on the city's website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EST on Feb. 23. A timeline for a hiring decision could not be immediately learned.

City officials could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
