Bart Grenier was named global head of asset management at Fidelity International in London, a spokeswoman said.

The position is new. Mr. Grenier is responsible for Fidelity International's £234 billion ($313 billion) investment management business across all major asset classes including equities, fixed income, multiasset and real estate, the spokeswoman said.

The respective global chief investment officers for these areas report to Mr. Grenier, she added. Mr. Grenier reports to Brian Conroy, president.
