"With more than 30 years of industry experience, (Mr. Brown's) invaluable insight to the services that we provide to our U.K. clients will ensure we continue to be best placed to tailor solutions that support their unique requirements," Laurence Everitt, head of global fund services in the U.K., said in a news release.

Mr. Brown was previously a short-term consultant with Tesco Pensions Investment, Welwyn Garden City, England, which oversees the investments of the £13.1 billion ($17.4 billion) Tesco PLC Pension Scheme. Tesco officials could not be reached for information on a replacement.
