Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation seeks investment consultant

Saskatchewan Workers' Compensation Board, Regina, is searching for an investment consultant, a board spokeswoman said.

The board has C$1.9 billion ($1.6 billion) in assets invested with five external managers — Greystone Managed Investments, Wellington Management, Unigestion, Jarislowsky Fraser and Lazard Asset Management, according to the RFP.

Its current asset allocation is 33% fixed income, 30% foreign equity, 25% Canadian equity and 12% in real estate.

Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting, the board's current investment consultant, can rebid, the spokeswoman said.

The RFP is on the website of SaskTenders, the province's online public procurement system.

Proposals are due at 3 p.m. CST Oct. 13. A selection is expected by the end of this year, the spokeswoman said.
