Fadi Khoury was named executive director and head of Middle East and North Africa at BMO Global Asset Management, a spokeswoman said.

Mr. Khoury focuses on institutional investors based in Gulf Cooperation Council countries, including sovereign wealth funds, multilateral organizations, central banks and public pension funds.

"(Mr. Khoury) joins BMO Global Asset Management as we look to enhance the relationships already established in the region, as well as build new ones. He will be pivotal in promoting our highly diversified choice of investment solutions to clients across the region," said Mandy Mannix, head of client management, Europe, Middle East and Africa at BMO Global Asset Management, in a news release.

Mr. Khoury previously worked as managing director for institutional clients in the Middle East at Amundi. A spokesman could not provide details of a replacement.
