Vincent Duhamel was named global president and chief operating officer of Fiera Capital, the company announced Wednesday.
Mr. Duhamel will replace Jean-Guy Desjardins, Fiera Capital founder and CEO, effective Nov. 14, according to a news release from Fiera. Mr. Desjardins took on the duties after Sylvain Brosseau resigned in April to pursue other professional opportunities.
Mr. Duhamel is capital partner and chief executive Asia at private bank Lombard Odier, according to the Fiera release. A spokeswoman at Lombard Odier could not be reached for details on his replacement.
Fiera Capital had C$125 billion ($96 billion) in assets under management as of June 30.
