Schenectady deferred compensation plan seeks investment consultant

Schenectady (N.Y.) Deferred Compensation Committee is searching for an investment consultant, according to an RFP posted on the city's purchasing department website.

The $24 million 457 plan's committee is seeking a consultant to assist in the creation of an investment policy, conduct an annual review and analysis of that policy, and advise the committee on a regular basis on investments. Whether there is a current consultant could not be immediately learned.

Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT on Nov. 1. A decision is expected sometime in December.

The RFP is available on the city's purchasing department website.
