Harlingen Firemen’s plan launches consultant search

Harlingen (Texas) Firemen's Relief and Retirement Fund is searching for an investment consultant, said an RFP provided by Mari Leal, a city purchasing official.

The reason for the search could not immediately be learned. The pension fund has approximately $30 million in assets and invests with Westwood Trust across 10 asset classes, according to the RFP.

The pension fund has a target asset allocation of 60% equities and 40% fixed income.
