Home prices in Seattle, Portland, Ore., and Denver have seen the largest appreciation over both the one- and three-year periods ended May 31, according to the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller home price index. Home prices on the national level were up over both periods and no major city saw a decline in home prices.

New York, Chicago and Washington had the lowest home price appreciation during that time, growing an average 3.6% for the year and 2.6% for the three-years.
