William C. Biddle was named interim executive director of the Kentucky Public Employees' Deferred Compensation Authority, Frankfort, the authority announced in its recently released second-quarter newsletter.
Mr. Biddle, who most recently served as the authority's deputy director, was named interim director on July 1. He replaced executive director Robert Brown, who retired the same day.
A search committee chaired by Thomas Stephens, secretary of Kentucky's Personnel Cabinet, has already been formed. It has not been determined whether an executive search firm will be hired to help find a permanent replacement for Mr. Brown. A timeline for naming a permanent replacement has not been set, Mr. Stephens said.
The Kentucky Public Employees' Deferred Compensation Authority oversees 457 and 401(k) plans with about $2.5 billion in assets combined.
