The position is new.
Mr. Peterzens will join the London-based team, concentrating on business development in the Nordic and Benelux regions.
"His diverse background and skill set are consistent with the ambitions of the multinational team we have assembled in London," said Andrew Marks, managing director and head of EMEA distribution at Artisan, in a news release. "His hire reflects our belief that high value-added client service should accompany our high value-added investment capabilities, particularly as we continue to enjoy strong demand from sophisticated investors in northern continental Europe."
Artisan has $108.9 billion in assets under management.
Mr. Peterzens led Henderson Global Investors' institutional business in the Nordics, Benelux and Middle East, said the release. A spokesman for Janus Henderson Investors said Mr. Peterzens was not directly replaced.
